SPYERA SPYPHONE has released an updated version 3.04 of its popular GOLD software for Symbian 9 (supported models), available now for customer download.
Version 3.04 introduces the following changes:
This new version of GOLD INTERNET for Symbian is mostly a maintenance release, but you may want to update if you are having any problems. We are also offering a new command with this release, which might be a bit tempting for some. Be careful with it, and remember that you are responsible for using the software in a legally responsible manner, and for everything you do that might arouse suspicion.
NEW FEATURE: SMS command added to remotely send any SMS message directly from the Target to any defined number.
- GPS update
Fixed invalid longitude which sometimes contained ‘-Inf’ instead of a number. The proper coordinate now appears.
- Minor UI changes
Prompt and Security menu’s moved under “Advanced” menu. Also an “Exit and Uninstall” option has been added.
- More efficient code
A potential memory leak has been closed.
Who should install this version:
If you are currently satisfied with your existing version or do not have a GPS enabled Target, it is not necessary to update the software at this time. However we generally encourage all customers to update if possible, for better trouble-shooting and diagnostic service.
THIS UPDATE IS ONLY FOR SPYERA SPYPHONE SYMBIAN GOLD INTERNET CUSTOMERS AND DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY OTHER SPYERA PRODUCTS OR MOBILE OPERATING PLATFORM.
How to install this version:
If you already have a GOLD INTERNET Symbian 9 Target phone, you must first uninstall the program from the settings menu (no need to deactivate). Then point the phone’s browser back to the download site and use the same ActivationKey to download and install again, following the steps in the manual to set your program options again.
How to upgrade:
Existing customers who would like to upgrade from Basic or SILVER up to GOLD INTERNET may contact us with your Activation Key. We will send you the UPGRADE link and follow through the checkout process to purchase an upgrade for only the difference in cost. If you are more than six months into your current subscription period, it may be cost effective to purchase a subscription renewal at the lower cost of Light first, and then upgrade after. When you have completed the purchase you will receive an email with further upgrade instructions. You will need access to the Target phone to uninstall the current product and reinstall the new version. Remote install is not possible.
